Chap. 199.—An ACT to appropriate money to the Virginia Conservation Commis-
sion, to be used for the purchase of the Ayers Building, in the town of Big
Stone Gap. [S B 108]

Whereas, by section four of chapter three hundred sixty-five of the
Acts of Assembly of nineteen hundred forty-four, approved March
thirty-one, nineteen hundred forty-four, there was appropriated to the
Virginia Conservation Commission the sum of twenty-five thousand
dollars, to be used for the purchase of the Ayers building in the town
of Big Stone Gap, for the purposes therein set forth; and,
Whereas, no part of said appropriation has been used, and it is
deemed fitting and proper that the same amount of money be kept
available for such purposes; now, therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. There is hereby appropriated to the Virginia Conservation
Commission, out of any fund in the State treasury and otherwise ap-
propriated, the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars, to be used by said
Commission for the purchase of the Ayers building in the town of Big
Stone Gap, from the Trustees of the Slemp Foundation, for the uses and
purposes and in accordance with the general provisions of said chapter
three hundred sixty-five of the Acts of Assembly of nineteen hundred
forty-four.
