Chap. 37.—An ACT to authorize the county school board of Frederick county to
lease certain public school property to the War Food Administration. [H 133]
Approved February 19, 1944
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The county school board of Frederick county may lease to the
War Food Administration, for such consideration and for as long a term
as it deems proper, such and so much of the public school property in
the county as the Administration may desire to lease for its purposes,
provided that no property may be so leased, the leasing of which would,
in the opinion of the board, materially affect the operation of any of the
public schools in the county. Any such lease shall be evidenced by a con-
tract in writing, executed on behalf of the county school board by its
chairman and clerk, and any money derived from any such leasing shall
be paid into the county treasury, to the credit of the county school funds.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
