Chap. 3.—An ACT to authorize the State Hospital Board to convey to the Vir-
ginia Lincoln Corporation all the right, title and interest of the Southwestern
State Hospital and the Commonwealth of Virginia in and to a certain tract
ot land near Marion in Smyth county. [H 3]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the State Hospital Board, with the written approval of the
Governor, is authorized and empowered, for a consideration of eleven
thousand six hundred fifty dollars, cash, to convey, subject to any out-
standing restrictions and reservations, to the Virginia Lincoln Corpora-
tion by proper deed, executed by the Chairman of the State Hospital
Board, all the right, title and interest of the Southwestern State Hospital
and the Commonwealth of Virginia in and to the following tract of land:
All that certain tract, piece or parcel of land located near the eastern
imits of the Town of Marion, Smyth County, Virginia, and northeast
f the Southwestern State Hospital, consisting of thirty-five (35) acres
»f land, more or less, known as “Hospital Bottom’, and being the same
and conveyed to the Southwestern State Hospital by Charles C. Lincoln
tt ux, by deed dated August seven, nineteen hundred twenty-two, and
ecorded in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Smyth County,
Virginia, in Deed Book No. forty-nine at page three hundred sixty, to
vhich reference is made for a more particular description of this land.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
