on any subsequent day, if, in the case of a circuit or corporation court,
the same is done before four o’clock in the afternoon of the third day.
After a court is opened it shall, during the term, adjourn from day to

day to which it is adjourned, it may nevertheless sit on any subsequent
day of the term.
