Whereas, Wilbur D. Chaplin, while Clerk of Bath county, failed tc
make reports of the collection of hunting and fishing license fees for the
month of November, nineteen hundred forty-two, within the time pre-
scribed by law, but made such report and remittance on February second.
nineteen hundred forty-three, and because of such delay forfeited his
commissions amounting to four hundred twenty dollars and twenty-five
cents; and
Whereas, it seems proper and right that the former Clerk should be
paid the commissions which he earned ; now therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Comptroller is authorized and directed to draw his
warrant on the State Treasurer, chargeable against the special fund in
the treasury to the credit of the Commission of Game and Inland Fish-
eries, in the amount of four hundred twenty dollars and twenty-five
cents, in favor of Wilbur D. Chaplin, and upon the issuance of the
warrant the State Treasurer shall pay such amount to Wilbur D. Chaplin.
