Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. Section forty-eight-a of an act entitled “An Act to provide a
new charter for the city of Portsmouth.”, approved March ten, nineteen
hundred eight, which was added thereto by chapter forty-five of the
Acts of Assembly of nineteen hundred thirty-three, approved September
eleven, nineteen hundred thirty-three, is repealed.
