Chap. 141.—An ACT to amend and re-enact Chapter 40, Acts of 1927, relating to
driving any vehicle over or upon, and to injuring or destroying, any equipment
of any fire company, under certain circumstances, making any such action un-
lawful and prescribing penalty, in certain named counties, so as to include cer-
tain other county or counties. [H 204]

3e it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: ,
1. That chapter forty of the Acts of Assembly of nineteen hundred
twenty-seven be amended and re-enacted, as follows:
Section 1. It is unlawful for any person to drive any automobile or
other vehicle over or upon, or in any way to injure or destroy, any hose
or other equipment of any fire company either paid or volunteer, actually
in use or spread for use in fighting fire, whether the same be across or
upon any public or private roadway or in any other place in Arlington,
Prince William, Fairfax and Warwick counties.
Section 2. Any violation of the provisions of this act shall be deemed
a misdemeanor and punished by a fine of not less than ten nor more than
five hundred dollars or confinement in jail not more than thirty days, or
both, in the discretion of the court or jury trying the case.
