1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
bridge across New River, at Bluff City, in the county of Giles, on State
Highway Route Eight, is hereby named the Anderson E. -Shumate
Memorial Bridge, and that the State Highway Commissioner so desig-
nate the same by placing appropriate markers thereon.
