Chap. 48.—An ACT to authorize and empower the Board of Visitors of the College
of William and Mary in Virginia to sell and convey a certain strip of land in
the City of Williamsburg. [H B 164]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Board of Visitors of the College of William and Mary in Virginia be, and
it is hereby authorized and empowered, with the approval of the Gov-
ernor, first obtained, to sell, and convey by proper deed, to the purchaser,
a certain strip, piece or parcel of land, lying and being in the City of
Williamsburg, Virginia, on the easterly side of North Henry Street,
fronting said street a width of ten (10) feet, adjoining the property of
Mary Scott Howison, and extending easterly from said street between
parallel lines the depth of the Howison lot.
