Chap. 425.—An ACT to authorize the Board of Supervisors of Spotsylvania county
to convey to the United States of America, or any agency or instrumentality
thereof, a certain parcel of land constituting a part of the road running between
the National Cemetery to the Park Service Building, adjacent to the City of

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Board of Supervisors of Spotsylvania county is hereby authorized to
convey to the United States of America, or to any agency or instrumen-
tality thereof, upon such terms and conditions as may be agreed upon,
that certain parcel of land lying in the said county, adjacent to the City
of Fredericksburg, which constitutes a part of the road running between
the National Cemetery and the Park Service Building, more particularly
described as follows :.
Beginning at a point, which point is the intersection of the west line
of the Sunken Road with a line dividing the property of W. C. Spratt,
“Kirkland”, from the property of the United States of America, the
National Cemetery (said line being a part of the boundary of the Corpor-
ation Limit Line of the City of Fredericksburg) ; thence, along the west
line.of the Sunken Road in a southerly direction one hundred and ninety-
nine and fifteen one-hundredths feet, along the face of the brick wall
around the National Cemetery, to a point, which point is formed by the
intersection of the west line of the Sunken Road with the prolongation of
the north line of the National Boulevard (The Richmond-Washington
Highway) ;: thence, with an angle of seventy-seven degrees, twenty min-
utes to the right, and following across the south end of the Sunken Road,
thirty-four and eighty-nine one-hundredths feet to a point, which point
is formed by the intersection of the prolongation of the east line of the
Sunken Road with the prolongation of the north line of the National
Boulevard ; thence, with an angle of one hundred and one degrees, thirty-
one minutes to the right, and following along the east line of the Sunken
Road (which line is also a part of the Corporation Limit Line of the City
of Fredericksburg) one hundred. and eighty-nine feet in a northerly
direction to a point, which point is a corner of the Corporation Limit Line
of the City of Fredericksburg; thence, south eighty-four degrees, four
minutes, twenty-five seconds west, thirty-two feet, along a portion of the
Corporation Limit Line of the City of Fredericksburg, to ike pace of
