Chap. 387.—An ACT to amend and re-enact Sections 78 and 79 of the Code of
Virginia, as heretofore amended, apportioning the State into house and _sena-
torial districts. [S B 23]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That sections
seventy-eight and seventy-nine of the Code of Virginia, as heretofore
amended, be amended and re-enacted, as follows:
Section 78. When members of the House of Delegates elected ;
apportionment therefor—The members of the House of Delegates shall
be elected on the Tuesday succeeding the first Monday in November,
nineteen hundred and forty-three, and biennially thereafter on the Tues-
day succeeding the first Monday in November, and be distributed and
apportioned, and each county, city and combination is entitled to repre-
sentation in the House of Delegates by a delegate, or by delegates, as
follows:
