Chap. 303.—An ACT to amend and re-enact Section~357 of the Tax Code of
Virginia, prescribing the time within which certain warrants on county treas-
urers may be paid. , [H B 428]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That section
three hundred and fifty-seven of the Tax Code of Virginia, be amended
and re-enacted, as follows:

Section 357. Limiting the time in which warrants drawn by the
supervisors, school boards, local boards of public welfare, and circuit
courts shall be paid—No warrant or order drawn on the county treasurer
of any county by the board of supervisors, school board, local board of
public welfare, or circuit court shall be paid by said treasurer, unless
said warrant or order be presented to be paid, and registered in a book,
to be kept by the treasurer for that purpose, within two years from the
date of the drawing of the said warrant.
