Chap. 25.—An ACT to name the bridge across the Rappahannock River at Fred-
ericksburg, constituting a portion of Route 3 of the State highway system,
“Chatham Bridge.” [H B 72]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
bridge across the Rappahannock river at Fredericksburg, beginning at
William street and constituting a portion of route three of the State high-
way system, is hereby named and designated “Chatham Bridge,” the same
being the original and historic name of the former bridge on the same
site. The department of highways is authorized to erect a suitable marker
at the Stafford end of said bridge.
