Chap. 236. An ACT to authorize the State Board of Education, with the approval
of the President of the State Teachers College at Radford, to enter into a con-
tract of lease with the Atlantic Greyhound Lines in connection with its bus
terminal at Radford, Virginia. [fH B 430]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
State Board of Education be and it hereby is authorized and empowered
to enter into a contract of lease, upon such terms and conditions as it
deems to be to the best interest of the State Teachers College at Radford,
with the Atlantic Greyhound Lines to embrace a strip of land which is
part of the ground of said State Teachers College, and which contains
approximately forty-seven thousand square feet. Said contract shall
provide for the erection and construction of an entrance and waiting
room to be used in connection with the lessee’s bus terminal at Radford,
said building, on said strip of land or a part thereof, to be at the sole cost
and expense of said lessee. Any such contract of lease, however, shall
be subject to the approval of the President of the said State Teachers
College, and any structure erected thereon must meet with the approval
of the State Art Commission. The said lease, if entered into, shall contain
an accurate metes and bounds description of the strip of land embraced
therein.
