Chap. 191.—An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia, by adding a new section,
numbered 4326-b, to Chapter 172 thereof, which relates to fire, marine, casualty,
liability and indemnity insurance companies, so as to permit motor vehicle
liability insurance policies to include medical, surgical, ambulance or hospital
payments endorsements or by contract, with the named insured under a motor
vehicle liability policy included, with others, in the coverage. [S B 178]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Code of Virginia be amended by adding a new section, numbered forty-
three hundred and twenty-six-b, to chapter one hundred and seventy-two
thereof, as follows:
Section 4326-b. Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance; Medical, Sur-
gical, Ambulance or Hospital Payments Endorsements; Named Insured
May be Covered.—Each and every person, association, or corporation
authorized to issue motor vehicle lability insurance policies in this State
may issue medical, surgical, ambulance or hospital payments endorse-
ments to motor vehicle liability insurance policies, or may incorporate such
provisions in such policies, to cover the named insured or each and every
person who sustains bodily injury by accident arising out of the use of the
motor driven vehicle while the said motor driven vehicle is used by or
with the permission of the named insured. Such endorsements to or pro-
visions in the motor vehicle liability insurance policies will be subject,
however, to the provisions of section one, chapter two hundred and
thirty-one, of the Acts of nineteen hundred and thirty-two, as amended,
and as may be amended.
