Chap. 154.—An ACT to amend Chapter 415, Acts 1932, approved March 31, 1932,
as heretofore amended, relating to the establishment of the secondary system
of State highways and providing for the maintenance and improvement thereof,
by adding thereto a new section, designated Section 11-c, authorizing the State
Highway Commission to transfer, within certain limits, roads, bridges and
streets from the primary system to the secondary system of State highways.

I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That chapter
four hundred and fifteen of the Acts of the General Assembly of nineteen
hundred and thirty-two, approved March thirty-first, nineteen hundred
and thirty-two, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated
section eleven-c, as follows:
Section 1l-c. The State Highway Commission is hereby author-
ized and empowered to transfer such roads, bridges and streets as the
said commission shall deem proper, from the primary system of State
highways to the secondary system of State highways; upon such transfer,
the roads, bridges and streets so transferred shall become for all purposes
parts of the secondary system of State highways and thereafter cease
being parts of the primary system of State highways; the total mileage
of such roads, bridges and streets so transferred by the State Highway
Commission shall not, however, exceed one hundred and fifty miles
during any one year.
