1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That Section
hirty-three hundred and ninety-one of the Code of Virginia, be amended
ind re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 3391. Clerk to make index to each of his books.—The
Jerk of every court shall have an index to each book he is required to
ceep, except those for which general indexes are required and kept, or
yermitted and kept, making convenient reference to every order, record,
yr entry therein. Every execution, and every judgment or decree for
noney, shall be indexed, as well in the name of the person against whom
