Chap. 103.—An ACT to amend an act entitled “An Act to incorporate the Town of
Stuart, in the County of Patrick.”, approved November 22, 1884, as heretofore
amended, by adding thereto a new section numbered Section 14-a, so as to
authorize the council, under certain conditions, to permit the establishment of a
cemetery within said town, or the enlargement of any existing cemetery.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That an act
entitled “An Act to incorporate the Town of Stuart, in the County of
Patrick.”, approved November twenty-second, eighteen hundred and
eighty-four, as heretofore amended, be further amended by adding a
new section numbered fourt2en-a, as follows:
Section 14-a. The council of the Town of Stuart may, by ordi-
nance, permit the establishment of a cemetery, or the enlargement of any
existing cemetery, within the corporate limits of the town, under such
rules and regulations as to location, boundaries and operation thereof as
the council may prescribe by its said ordinance.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
