Chap. 59.—An ACT to make it unlawful for any person to hunt, take. pursue,
capture, wound, kill or maim a homing pigeon of another, or to use any trap,
device, drug, poison or explosive for such purpose, and to prescribe penalties
for violation thereof. [S B 38]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That it
shall be unlawful for any person at any time or in any manner to hunt,
pursue, take, capture, wound, maim, disfigure, or kill any homing
pigeon of another person, or to make use of any pit or pitfall, scaffold,
cage, snare, trap, net, baited hook or similar device or drug, poison
chemical, or explosive, for the purpose of injuring, capturing or
killing any such homing pigeon. ,
Any person violating any of the foregoing provisions shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall
be punished accordingly.
