1. Beit enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of the county of Powhatan be, and they are
hereby, authorized and empowered to lease from the deputy treasurer
of such county, for use as a treasurer’s office, and on such terms and
for such time or times as they may deem best, a certain building
owned by such deputy treasurer and near to the courthouse of such
county and convenient for use as such treasurer’s office.
