Chap. 238.—An ACT to make it unlawful to fish on Sunday in any of the waters in
Giles, Bland and Tazewell Counties, except Mountain Lake in Giles County;
to prescribe certain forfeitures for violations thereof; and to repeal an act en-
titled ‘‘An Act to prohibit the taking of fish from the streams of Giles County
except with hook and line, and to prohibit the taking of fish from certain streams
in said county, during certain seasons; to prohibit fishing on Sunday; to prohibit
the use of fish berries, dynamite and other explosive or chemical substances for
the taking, or destruction of fish; and to prescribe the punishment for violations

1. Beit enacted by the General Assembly: of Virginia as follows:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to fish on Sunday
in any of the waters in Giles, Bland and Tazewell Counties, except
Mountain Lake in Giles County.
Section 2. Any person violating the preceding section shall for-
feit to the Commonwealth the sum of ten dollars for each violation of
said section, which may be recovered by warrant before the trial
justice of the county, issued on the complaint of any person having
knowledge of such violation.
2. Be it further enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia,
That an act entitled “An Act to prohibit the taking of fish from the
streams of Giles County except with hook and line, and to prohibit
the taking of fish from certain streams in said county, during certain
seasons; to prohibit fishing on Sunday; to prohibit the use of fish
berries, dynamite and other explosive or chemical substances for the
taking, or destruction of fish; and to prescribe the punishment for
violations thereof.”’, approved March twenty-fourth, nineteen hundred
and twenty-six, be, and the same is hereby, repealed.
