counties to invest sinking funds in bonds of the United States, the State of
Virginia, or of any county, city, town or district in the State of Virginia.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
board of county supervisors of any county which has adopted either
the county executive form of county organization and government
provided by sections twenty-seven hundred and seventy-three-n one
to twenty-seven hundred and seventy-three-n fifty-seven, both in-
clusive, of the Code of Virginia, or a county manager form of county
organization and government provided for in sections twenty-seven
hundred and seventy-three-n one to twenty-seven hundred and
seventy-three-n fifty-six, both inclusive, of the Code of Virginia, may
invest sinking funds of such county in bonds of the United States,
the State of Virginia, or of any county, city or town in the State of
Virginia, or in any district of any such county.
