Chap. 176.—An ACT to authorize, empower and direct the Board of Visitors of the
Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind, to convey to the City of Staunton a
right of way for certain sewer pipe lines heretofore laid by said city in connec-
tion with its sanitary sewerage system, through the lands of said school, to-
gether with the right to maintain, repair and relay said lines. [H B 191]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Board of Visitors of the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind be,
and it is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed, for and on
behalf of the Commonwealth of Virginia, to convey to the city of
Staunton, by a proper deed signed and executed by such persons as
shall be thereunto authorized by said board, with special warranty of
title and without consideration, a right of way for the trunk line sewer
and lateral sewer lines heretofore laid by said city with the consent and
approval of said Board of Visitors, in connection with the city’s
sanitary sewerage system, located according to the city survey and
running approximately twenty-seven hundred and seventy-one feet
in, under and across the lands of the said Virginia School for the Deaf
and Blind, at Staunton, together with the right to inspect, maintain,
repair and relay said pipe line or lines with convenient appliances for
taking sewerage and water across and through said lands, said right
of way and pipe lines to be appurtenances to the lands of the city of
Staunton in connection with its water and sanitary sewer system, and
also the right of ingress and egress for the city of Staunton, its agents
and employees, for the aforesaid purposes, said pipe lines to be kept
under ground as shown on the survey of the sanitary sewerage system
of the city of Staunton.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
