1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That an
act entitled ‘‘An Act to make it unlawful to kill red foxes in Lee County
for two years, and to prescribe penalties for violations.”, approved
March twelfth, nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, be amended and
re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 1. Any person who shall kill any red fox in the county of
Lee at any time within two years from the first day of July, nineteen
hundred and forty, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon con-
viction thereof, shall be fined not less than ten dollars nor more than
fifty dollars.
