as heretofore amended, relating to the governing boards of certain educational

1. Beit enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That sec-
tion six hundred and thirteen of the Code of Virginia, as heretofore
amended, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Section 613. Superintendent of Public Instruction ex officio
member of governing boards of State institutions——The Superin-
tendent of Public Instruction, ex officio, shall be a member of all the
governing boards of all of the educational institutions receiving appro-
priations from the State, of whatever kind or class, except of those
educational institutions for which the State Board of Education is the
governing board.
