Chap. 110.—An ACT to authorize the Virginia Conservation Commission to transfer
and convey to the United States of America, without consideration but subject
to certain conditions, restrictions and reservations, all the right, title and
interest of the Commonwealth of Virginia and of the Virginia Conservation
Commission in and to a certain tract of land in Princess Anne County, Virginia,
adjoining the Fort Story Military Reservation, the said tract being a part of
the Virginia Sea Shore State Park. {[S B 53]

1. Beit enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, as follows:
Section 1. The Virginia Conservation Commission is hereby
authorized and empowered, subject to the further provisions of this
act, to transfer and convey to the United States of America, for
military and naval purposes and for purposes of public defense, by
deed or deeds executed by the Chairman and Executive Secretary of
the said Commission, all the right, title and interest of the Com-
monwealth of Virginia and of the Virginia Conservation Commission
in and to a tract of land in Lynnhaven Magisterial District, Princess
Anne County, Virginia, adjoining the Fort Story Military Reserva-
tion on the south and west, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the westerly boundary of Fort Story
Military Reservation and the easterly boundary of one hundred
forty-first (141st) Street, said point being south twenty-three (23)
degrees and thirty-seven (37) minutes west, six hundred (600) feet
from an eight-inch by eight-inch concrete monument with a brass
disc in its center marked ‘“‘Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army’’, located
in the intersection of the westerly boundary of said Reservation
and the northerly boundary of Holly Avenue; thence, following the
southerly boundary of blocks numbers thirteen (13), fourteen (14),
fifteen (15) and sixteen (16) of Section B—two (B2), now or formerly
owned by the Cape Henry Syndicate, north sixty-six (66) degrees
and twenty-three (23) minutes west, sixteen hundred and twenty
(1,620) feet to a point in the westerly boundary of one hundred forty-
fifth (145th) street, which point is the southeast corner of block
number seventeen (17); thence, along the prolongation of said west-
erly boundary of one hundred forty-fifth (145th) street south twenty-
three (23) degrees and thirty-seven (37) minutes west, two thousand
thirty-two and seven one hundredths (2,032.07) feet to a point;
thence, south seventy-one (71) degrees and fifty-three (53) minutes
east, four thousand two hundred seventy-four and two one hun-
dredths (4,274.02) feet to a point in the southerly boundary of said
Fort Story Military Reservation; thence, following the southerly
boundary of said Reservation north thirty-nine (39) degrees and
forty-six (46) minutes west, eight hundred forty-six and forty-three
one hundredths (846.43) feet to an angle point in the southerly
boundary of said Reservation; thence, continuing along the southerly
boundary of. said Reservation north seventy-one (71) degrees and
fifty-three (53) minutes west, one thousand eight hundred eighty-six
and three-tenths (1,886.3) feet to the southwesterly corner of said
Reservation; thence, following the westerly boundary of said Reser-
vation north twenty-three (23) degrees and thirty-seven (37) minutes
east, fourteen hundred and twenty-four (1,424) feet to the point of
beginning; containing ninety-six and one tenth (96.1) acres, more or
less, all as shown on a plat entitled ‘‘Fort Story Reservation, Va.,
Additional Lands to be Acquired’’, marked File No. NH seven-one-
three hundred forty-seven (NH 7-1-347), dated July twelve, nineteen
hundred and thirty-nine, and filed in the United States Engineer’s
Office, Norfolk, Virginia. All bearings are referred to the true meri-
dian.
Section 2. The conveyance hereby authorized shall be made
subject to the reservations, conditions, limitations and rights of re-
version contained in section nineteen of the Code of Virginia and
made applicable to the acquisition of lands by the United States
from any individual, firm, association or body corporate, and subject
to the conditions and right of reversion contained in section nineteen-b
of the said Code.
