Chap. 358.—An ACT to make it lawful for any person to gig red-horse,
carp and other fish except game fish, in the waters of Clinch river and
Holston river and their tributaries, within Scott county, in daylight hours
during certain periods, and to make it lawful for any person to gig eels,
cat fish or any other fish not classed as game fish in the waters of any
river or creek within the counties of Amherst and Nelson. [H B 395]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That it
shall be lawful for any person to gig red-horse, carp, or any other
fish not classed as game fish, in the waters of Clinch river and Holston
river and their tributaries, within the county of Scott, during daylight
hours, from the fifteenth day of May of any year to the fifteenth day
of January of the next year. Provided further that it shall be lawful
for any person to gig eels, cat fish or any other fish not classed as
game fish, in the waters of any river or creek within the counties of
Amherst and Nelson. " :
