Chap. 326.—An ACT to authorize boards of supervisors of counties having a
population of less than 12,000 to contribute towards the compensation of

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of any county having a population of less than
twelve thousand according to the United States census of nineteen
hundred and thirty, shall have the power and authority to contribute
from funds derived from the general county levy, such sum or sums
as such board may in its discretion deem proper, towards the salary
or compensation of the deputy clerk of the circuit court of such county.
