Chap. 266.—An ACT to repeal an act entitled “An act establishing a town on
the lands of James Loving, in the county of Nelson’, passed January 24,
1809, and all acts amendatory thereof, and to provide that the said repeal
shall not affect the plans or plats of said town or vested property rights
in the lots, street and alleys within the limits of said town. [H B 475]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That an
act entitled an act establishing a town on the lands of James Loving,
in the county of Nelson, passed January twenty-fourth, eighteen hun-
dred and nine, and any and all acts amendatory thereof, or of any part
thereof, be, and the same are hereby repealed.
2. But the said repeal shall not affect (one) the original plan or
plat of the said town which is of record in the clerk’s office of Nelson
county, Virginia, or. (two) the altered or amended plan or plat of the
said town showing certain changes in and additions to the original plan
or plat, likewise recorded, and made pursuant to an act entitled an
act altering the plan of the town of Lovingston in Nelson county,
passed February fifth, eighteen hundred and twenty-three, or (three)
any vested property rights in the lots, streets and alleys within the
limits of said town.
