Chap. 238.—An ACT to authorize and empower the board of visitors of the
College of William and Mary in Virginia to sell and convey a certain

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
board of visitors of the College of William and Mary in Virginia be,
and it is hereby, authorized and empowered, with the consent and
approval of the Governor, to sell and convey by proper deed to the
purchaser or purchasers thereof, a certain piece or parcel of land, not
necessary or used for the purposes of the College, containing approxi-
mately six acres, lying and being in James City county, Virginia, on
the easterly side of the main highway between Williamsburg and
Jamestown Island adjacent to, but not including, the old mill and
mill site owned by the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
