Chap. 301.—An ACT to authorize the Special Board of Directors of the Eastern
State Hospital to convey to the city of Williamsburg for cemetery purposes
not exceeding one and one-quarter acres of the lands of such hospital.

1, Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
special board of directors of the Eastern State Hospital be, and it is
hereby, authorized and empowered to convey to the city of Williams-
burg, on such terms as may be agreed upon between said board and
the council of the city of Williamsburg, not exceeding one and one-
quarter acres of the lands of said hospital adjoining Cedar Grove
Cemetery and lying to the southerly side of the present cemetery ;
the land so conveyed to be used for cemetery purposes.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
