Chap. 293.—An ACT to make it unlawful to shoot, kill, wound, hunt, chase, or
molest, or permit or encourage the hunting, chasing or molesting of any deer
at any time in the counties of Bland, Buchanan, Wise, Dickenson, Lee, Scott,
Washington, Russell, Tazewell, Wythe, Smyth, Carroll, Grayson, Floyd,
Patrick, Montgomery, Pulaski and Giles, and to prescribe penalties for viola-
tions thereof. [H B 336]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That it
shall be unlawful for any person at any time to shoot, kill, wound,
hunt, chase, or molest, or permit or encourage the hunting, chasing
or molesting of any deer in the counties of Bland, Buchanan, Wise,
Dickenson, Lee, Scott, Washington, Russell, Tazewell, Wythe, Smyth,
Carroll, Grayson, Floyd, Patrick, Montgomery, Pulaski and Giles.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this act shall, upon
conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred
dollars nor more than two hundred and fifty dollars, or by imprison-
ment for not less than one month nor more than six months, or both,
in the discretion of the court or jury trying the case.
