Chap. 230.—An ACT for the relief of H. I°. Minter. [H B 460]

Whereas, on December twenty-ninth, nineteen hundred and twenty-
two, H. I*. Minter, who was then judge of the juvenile and domestic
relations court of the county of Prince George, in pursuance of a
requisition duly issued, and a travel order delivered to him by the
Governor of Virginia, went to the city of Baltimore and took in charge
one Leo FI. Bennett, a fugitive from justice, and returned him to the
county of Prince George, in the performance of which service, the said
H. |l*. Minter incurred expenses for himself and the said prisoner,
amounting to the sum of sixty-four dollars and fifty cents; and,
Whereas, for some technical reason, the Auditor of Public Ac-
counts declined to approve said account for payment, and the payment
thereof by the Comptroller is now barred by section twenty-one hun-
dred and seventy-nine of the Code of Virginia; now, therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Comptroller be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to issue his
warrant upon the treasurer in favor of the said H. I. Minter for the
said sum of sixty-four dollars and fifty cents, payable out of money
appropriated for criminal expenses of the State.
