Chap. 182.——-An ACT to appropriate to the Division of Motor Vehicles $161,500
for the year beginning July 1, 1936, and $146,500 for the year beginning
July 1, 1937, to be used for the employment of additional police officers and
the adjustment of salaries of the police force of the said division. [H B 277]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That there
be, and is hereby, appropriated to the Division of Motor Vehicles,
payable out of the revenue collected and paid into the State treasury by
the Division of Motor Vehicles, the sum of one hundred sixty-one
thousand five hundred dollars ($161,500.00) for the year beginning
July first, nineteen hundred and thirty-six, and ending June thirtieth,
nineteen hundred and thirty-seven, and the sum of one hundred forty-
six thousand five hundred dollars ($146,500.00) for the year beginning
July first, nineteen hundred and thirty-seven and ending June thirtieth,
nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, for the purpose of the employment
by the Director of said Division of fifty additional police officers and
the adjustment of the salaries of the present police force, the funds
herein appropriated being in addition to other funds appropriated to
the said Division for the years referred to.
