Chap. 134.—An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new sec-
tion, numbered 6253-a, designating the judges who may sign bills of exceptions
and certificates of exceptions pertaining to any case tried in any court by a
judge who is not the regular judge thereof. [S B 80]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a new section, num-
bered sixty-two hundred and fifty-three-a, which new section shall read
as follows:
Section 6253-a. When any judge presides at the trial of a case in
any court of which he is not the regular judge, either the judge who
presided or the regular judge of such court may sign bills of excep-
tions and certificates of exceptions pertaining to such case.
