Chap. 6.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 5940 of the Code of Virginia,
relating to commissioners in chancery of the court of law and chancery of
the city of Norfolk. [H B 5]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Vi&inia, That section
fifty-nine hundred and forty of the Code of Virginia be amended and
re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Section 5940. The court of law and chancery shall have so many
commissioners in chancery as its judge may from time to time deem
proper, to be appointed by the judge of said court, one of whom shall
be designated as the commissioner of accounts for said court.
