Chap. 50.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 11 of the Game, Inland Fish
and Dog Code of Virginia, relating to meetings of the commission. [S B 137]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That section
eleven of the Game, Inland Fish and Dog Code of Virginia, be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Section 11. Meetings of the commission.—The commission shall
meet once every three months beginning July first of each year for the
transaction of such business as the chairman may bring before it, or the
chairman may call other meetings if the same be necessary. The ma-
jority of the members shall constitute a quorum. In the event of un-
avoidable absence of the chairman, because of illness or other reason,
the Governor shall designate some other member to act in place of said
chairman. Meetings shall be held in Richmond or at such other places
within the State as may be expedient.
