Chap. 409.—An ACT for the relief of Frank T. Rudacille. [S B 282]

Whereas, Frank T. Rudacille was driving a lot of cattle owned by
him, on the public highway between Sperryville and Culpeper, in this
State, on December thirteenth, nineteen hundred and twenty-eight, with
a man in front as a lookout and another behind driving the cattle,
and when approaching a curve in said highway, a State truck operated
by a servant and agent of the State Highway Department was driven
rapidly by the lookout, around the curve and into and against the said
lot of cattle, killing one of them, of the value of sixty-five dollars,
without any fault on the part of the said Rudacille; now, therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That there
be, and is hereby, appropriated to the said Frank T. Rudacille out
of any money appropriated to the State Highway Commission for the
construction and maintenance of highways the sum of sixty-five dollars
to compensate him for his loss aforesaid, the same to be paid by the
Treasurer on the warrant of the Comptroller.
