I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
bridge across Powell river, in the town of Big Stone Gap, on route
twenty-three of the State highway system be, and the same is hereby,
named and designated as the “Hugh Williams memorial bridge” as a
memorial to Hugh Williams, the contractor therefor, who departed this
life during the construction thereof ; and that the State Highway Com-
missioner appropriately mark the same as such.
