Chap. 37.—An ACT to repeal sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17,
18, 19, 20 and 21 of an act entitled an act to provide for the construction,
reconstruction, improvement and maintenance of the public roads and bridges
in Giles county, other than such as are included in the State highway system,
and to provide for the issuing of county bonds for the construction, reconstruc-
tion and permanent improvement of the roads and bridges, embraced in the
county highway system, approved February 10, 1920, and any and all amend-
ments of said sections or any of them, and to provide when the repeal of the
various sections shall become effective. [S B 134]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That sections
one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve,
thirteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty and twenty-one, of an
act entitled an act to provide for the construction, reconstruction, im-
provement and maintenance of the public roads and bridges in Giles
county, other than such as are included in the State highway system,
and to provide for the issuing of county bonds for the construction,
reconstruction and permanent improvement of the roads and bridges
embraced in the county highway system, approved February tenth,
nineteen hundred and twenty, and any and all amendments of said
sections or any of them, be and the same are hereby, repealed.
2. The foregoing repeal of all of the sections therein enumerated,
except sections three and four, shall be in force on and after July first,
nineteen hundred and thirty-four, and the repeal of said sections three
and four shall be in force upon and after the expiration of the term of
office of the road commissioners last elected under the provisions of
section three.
