Chap. 277.—An ACT for the relief of Irvin Clore. [fH B 331]

Whereas, Irvin Clore, treasurer of Spotsylvania county, paid off and
took up certain claims against the Commonwealth issued by the clerk
of the circuit court of said county for witness fees, jurors fees, et
cetera, and paid by said treasurer, amounting in the aggregate to the
sum of seventy dollars and twenty cents; and,
Whereas, the Auditor of Public Accounts refused to give said
treasurer credit in his settlement for the amount of such claims so
paid by him for the reason that said claims were not paid off by him
within the time prescribed by law; now, therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That there
is hereby appropriated to Irvin Clore, treasurer of Spotsylvania county
out of any moneys in the State treasury not otherwise appropriated,
the sum of seventy dollars and twenty cents to reimburse him for the
claims so paid by him as aforesaid, the same to be paid by the Treasurer
on the warrant of the Comptroller.
