Chap. 274.—An ACT to provide that motor vehicles used as service or wrecking
cars shall, for the purpose of licensing and registration pursuant to the pro-
visions of chapter 342 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1932, approved
March 26, 1932, and known, designated and cited as the Motor Vehicle Code
of Virginia, and amendments thereof, be treated as other similar motor
vehicles and not as motor vehicles operated for compensation or for hire.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That for the
purpose of determining the registration and license fees to be paid,
pursuant to the provisions of chapter three hundred and forty-two of
the Acts of the General Assembly of nineteen hundred and thirty-two,
approved March twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred and thirty-two, and
known, designated and cited as the Motor Vehicle Code of Virginia,
and amendments thereof, by the owners of motor vehicles used as
service or wrecking cars, such motor vehicles, when used in connection
with the business of any person engaged in selling motor vehicles
and/or repairing the same, shall be treated as other similar motor
vehicles and not as motor vehicles operated for compensation or for
hire.
An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
