Chap. 266.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3413 of the Code of Virginia,
as heretofore amended, relating to the Board of Law Examiners and qualifica-
tions and examination of applicants for membership to the bar. [H B 220]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That section
thirty-four hundred and thirteen of the Code of Virginia, as hereto-
fore amended, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 3413. President of board; rules and regulations ; quorum.—
The board shall elect one of its members president, and may make,
alter and amend rules and regulations as to the legal qualifications of
applicants, the requirements necessary for passing examinations, in
whole or in part, and as to all things necessary or expedient for the
proper conduct of its examinations and the proper discharge of its
duties.
Every applicant before taking any examination held after July first,
nineteen hundred and thirty-five, shall furnish to said board satistac-
tory evidence that such applicant has either received a degree from a
law school approved by the American Bar Association or completed the
equivalent of at least a two-year academic course of an accredited
college, but such study need not have been in any college.
Three members shall constitute a quorum for holding examinations
or the transaction of other business.
