Chap. 248.—An ACT to make it unlawful to catch crabs on trot-lines in the west
branch of Wormley’s creek in York county and to prescribe penalties for
violations thereof. [S B 335]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be unlawful for any person, at any time, to catch or take crabs by
means of trot-lines from the waters of the west branch of Wormley’s
creek, in the county of York.
2. Any person violating the provisions of this act shall upon con-
viction thereof, be punished by a fine of not less than five dollars nor
more than twenty-five dollars.
