Chap. 235.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 23 of the Game, Inland Fish
and Dog Code of Virginia, relating to license provisions. [S B 162]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That section
twenty-three of the Game, Inland Fish and Dog Code of Virginia, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 23. Prices of licenses.—License shall be sold for the fol-
lowing prices:
(a) County license to hunt and fish, within the regulations and
restrictions provided by law, in the county named on the face thereof,
price one dollar.
(b) State license to hunt and fish, within the regulations and re-
strictions provided by law, in any and all counties of this State, price
three dollars.
(c) Non-resident license to hunt and fish, within the regulations
and restrictions provided by law, in any and all counties of this State,
price fifteen dollars and fifty cents.
(d) Non-resident license to hunt only, within the regulations and
restrictions provided by law, in any and all counties of this State, for
not more than one day, to be designated on the face of the license, price
five dollars.
(e) Non-resident license to fish only, by any method, within the
regulations and restrictions provided by law, in all inland waters of this
State, price five dollars.
(f) Non-resident license to fish only, by any method, within the
regulations and restrictions provided by law, in all inland waters of this
State, for not more than one day, to be designated on the face of the
license, price two dollars.
(g) The use of license buttons, as required by sections twenty and
twenty-five of this act, shall be optional with the commission for any
or all licenses herein provided.
(h) The short term licenses provided by sub-sections (d) and
(f) hereof shall not apply in Bland, Giles and Tazewell counties.
