Chap. 226.—An ACT to authorize the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries
to sell and convey certain portions of a tract of land in Roanoke county, known
as the Fort Lewis mountain haven refuge. [H B 385]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries be, and it is hereby, author-
ized and empowered to sell, in its discretion and upon such terms as it
may deem proper, certain small strips or parcels of land off the north-
eastern side of the State game refuge in Roanoke county, known as the
Fort Lewis mountain refuge, which lie between Mason’s creek and
the highway known as the Mason’s Cove road, in order that the said
road may be established as the northeastern boundary of the said game
refuge; and the chairman of said commission is hereby authorized and
empowered to, in the name or, and on Denali of, the commission, exe-
cute a deed, or deeds, to the purchaser, or purchasers, of such lands
as may be sold under the provisions of this act.
