1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be unlawful for any person to hunt for, chase, or capture by any means
whatever, any fox in the county of Henry between the fifteenth day
of March and the first day of September in any year, or for any per-
son to shoot or kill a fox in said county at any timie. Any person
violating any provision of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor,
and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than
five dollars nor more than fifty dollars, or imprisonment in jail for
not more than thirty days, or both, in the discretion of the court or
jury trying the case.
