Chap. 146.-An ACT to prohibit conspiracies to murder, rape, rob and kidnap
persons and to burglarize, break and enter and burn buildings, and to provide
penalties for violations of this act. [H B 14]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That if any
erson shall conspire or confederate or combine with another in the
ommonwealth of Virginia to murder, rape, rob or kidnap any person
‘to burglarize or to break and enter or to maliciously burn any build-
g, either within or without the Commonwealth of Virginia. he shall
e guilty of a felony and shall be confined in the penitentiary for a
eriod of not less than one nor more than ten years. Jurisdiction for
ie trial of any such person shall be in the county or city wherein any
art of such conspiracy is planned or in the county or city wherein any
ct is done toward the consummation of such plan or conspiracy.
