Chap. 135.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 4786 of the Code of Virginia,
relating to terms of imprisonment. [H B 162]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That section
forty-seven hundred and eighty-six of the Code of Virginia be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 4786. When any person is convicted of two or more offenses,
and sentenced to confinement, such sentences shall not run concurrently,
unless expressly ordered by the court.
