Virginia, in relation to the collection of city and town taxes. [H B 60]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That sec-
tion two hundred and ninety-seven of the Tax Code of Virginia be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Section 297. The council of any city or town in this State may
provide, by ordinance, for the collection of city or town taxes or levies
on property in installments at such times and with such penalties for
non-payment in time as may be fixed by ordinance.
